Shaped by History & Anchored in Nature

As Fort DuPont honors the past and shapes the future, we invite you to join our community. This newsletter shares events and updates that connect Delaware City and celebrate our area’s rich history and natural beauty.
Serving Our Neighbors
In December, the Delaware City Lions Club packed holiday food baskets on Dec. 18 and delivered them on Dec. 20. Fort DuPont staff were proud to assist with both efforts, supporting local families during the holiday season.
Home at the Fort: Holiday Giving Campaign

The Friends of Fort DuPont are resharing their Home at the Fort giving campaign as a reminder of the importance of community support.
Your gift does more than support events on the Parade Ground. It helps power the work that happens every day behind the scenes, from caring for open spaces and trails to preserving historic buildings and expanding access to arts, cultural and nature programs. These efforts are what make Fort DuPont feel like home.
Your donation helps to:
- Offer accessible arts, cultural and nature programs for the community
- Restore and preserve historic buildings and landscapes
- Care for open spaces, trails and gathering areas across the campus
Every gift, large or small, helps safeguard Fort DuPont’s past while building its future. During a season centered on connection and generosity, your support ensures this place continues to bring people together.
