The Canal District, tucked between the Parade Ground and the historic Branch Canal, is made up of a total of 80 town, carriage, and single-family homes. Carriage homes overlook the Branch Canal, Delaware City Marina, and the town promenade. A walking path on the Fort DuPont side will trace the route of the fort’s original Canal Street.
